In-class

  • Introduction to Colonialism Essay & Rubric
  • Review WOMP, TIFF, and DAPL assignments in Google Classroom; read teacher comments and suggestions for improving writing; record strengths and areas to work on on Writing Conference Form (or a sheet of binder paper); compose writing goals following this format: I will (fill in what you want to achieve in your writing here, but not “improve my grade” or “get an A”) by (fill in how you plan to do this).
  • Choose or receive assignment of essay question. Students who scored a 4.5 or higher on the DAPL assignment must do #2.
  • Brainstorm for essay.

Homework: None. Let’s ease our minds and bodies back into school.
