1:1 Laptop Updates

Old news but good news.  Dr. Fortuna had approved a change in platform for our high school’s 1:1 project.  We will be changing over to an Apple operating system.  Currently, we have Microsoft Windows OS, but with the new project, we have the opportunity to change.  The change in platform was the  result of a thorough inclusive decision making process.  The process involved a vendor/project evaluation done by staff and student groups, an evaluation by the project core committee and final recommendation to the headmaster.

Mahalo to everyone for their support.

AAIS Training – Mahalo Nui!

Mahalo to all of our teachers, counselors and staff for participating in our AAIS trainings over the last two days!  Much work was done by both our leaders and staff to prepare for these training days:

Mahalo to Dave Holden for his time, energy and expertise

Mahalo to Dory and Loke for planning and preparing schedules for these training days

Mahalo to all teaching staff and support staff involved in training.  Much work done to prepare for subs, as well as in session work done on unpacking standards and visiting standards based assessment.
