Attention Students – beginning August 5th, we will be conducting a daily Sustained Silent Reading (SSR) period. During this time, students will report to their assigned classes and read a book, magazine or newspaper for the entire 20 minute period. Each teacher will review guidelines for conduct and expected behavior. Electronic readers (e.g. Kindles, Nooks, iPads) are allowed. Phones and laptops may not be used during this time. Students will also not be allowed to leave or visit other classrooms.
