First Aid Training
Reminder that we will be conducting re-certification classes for staff Tuesday, August 2nd for First Aid at Keku`iapoiwa Learning Center. Schedules were sent by Colleen. Please check with Verna to confirm your time. Training sessions are two hours.

Teacher Supplies
Aloha Teachers – supplies ordered prior to summer are available at the office. All supplies are labeled. Reminder that high school office supplies teachers with basic office supplies, but classroom supplies for students are to be ordered using classroom budgets. Purchase Requisitions can be submitted to Kim for classroom supplies and will be ordered via Elcom or directly from vendor. Copies of PR’s or Elcom orders should be submitted to Sandy for tracking of order.

Forms Due – no class schedules
Reminder to all students and families – all school forms need to be submitted prior to the first day of school. Class schedules were mailed home in mid July. If you have not received your class schedule, we are most likely missing a form(s). Please contact our office at 982-0600 or log on to your KS Connect account (http://connect.ksbe.edu) for information on missing forms.

PCA Workshop Reminder
Just a reminder to all incoming 9th grade students. If you are planning to play sports this coming school year, attendance at our annual Positive Coaching Alliance workshop is mandatory for you and a parent/guardian. The workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, July 27th, starting at 12:45pm at Koai`a Gymnasium.
Mini Reg Update
Here are the dates and times for mini-registration:
Tuesday, July 26th: 8am-10am – grade 12, 10am-12pm – grade 11
Wednesday, July 27th: 9am-11am – grade 10, 3pm – 4pm – grade 9
Student schedules will be mailed out by Friday, July 22nd.
Student Driver’s Orientation
Students wishing to drive to school this upcoming 11-12 school year must attend a mandatory driver’s orientation meeting. There will be three sessions:
Tuesday, July 26th: 9:30am – 10:30am & 1:30pm – 2:30pm at Keawe Dining Hall
Monday, August 8th: 1st lunch – Career and Counseling Center Classroom
Don’t forget to bring your completed student driver’s application, copies of your car(s) current vehicle registration, safety check, proof of insurance (card), State of Hawaii Driver’s License and $20 fee (cash only).
Class Schedules
Class schedules will be sent to all families by July 25th. If you have outstanding school forms, schedules will be withheld by our office. Please be sure to turn in all student directory, medical and school information forms by July 15th.
Mini Registration
Reminder to all students that mini registration begins July 26th for grades 11 & 12, and continues July 27th, for grades 9 & 10. Check the flyer that was sent in the last high school mail out for times for each grade.
