The middle school boarding community got off to a great start in 2015 with a successful camping trip to Kokololio Beach Park (located in Hauula) and taking place over the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday weekend, from Saturday, Jan. 17 to Monday, Jan. 19. The young men of Nae’ole Hale and the young women of Kaha’opulani enjoyed three days of sunshine and beach — while also finding time to play volleyball, throw the Frisbee, or hang out in the shade. A highlight of the trip — as always — was Sunday evening’s dinner, as students were treated to lau lau.
