The young men and women of Nae’ole and Kaha’opulani Hale, respectively, provided this week’s Wehena, and they did not disappoint. It began with Patterson, Sama, Vincente, and Blayz blowing the Pu — and continued as Kellen, Kade, and Johnathan called roll. Keliko offered the opening Pule, and Evan delivered a heartfelt message that was well received by all:
Above, Evan received many compliments for sharing his mana’o. His speech was heartfelt and it resonated with students and staff members alike.
In the day’s leading up to Monday’s Wehena, (from left) Patterson, Sama, Vincente, and Blayz could be heard blowing the Pu throughout Nae’ole Hale. Alas, practice makes perfect! This “quartet” did not disappoint when it was time to perform.
(From left) Johnathan, Kade, and Kellen can always be counted on to offer their assistance. These three boys helped call roll and did a great job.
Here’s the “quartet” in action!
Keliko offered the opening Pule. From the girls side, Kea provided the closing Pule.
