6th Graders Living a Healthy Lifestyle

Our students are showing how they live a healthy lifestyle by taking advantage of the free dental screening provided by Hui No Ke Ola Pono, who come once a year to screen our 6th grade students. This voluntary program helps to reinforce the importance of taking care of our teeth and our bodies.

Cross Country Team Does Well in First Two Meets of the Season

Congratulations to our ES & MS Xcountry Warriors for two great meets on Saturday 8/30 and Saturday 9/6. Close to 500 young runners participated in each event.

Student Video Nominated for “Best Profile” for a middle school.

The public is invited to view outstanding student-produced video stories on the big screen at PBS Hawaii’s first-ever HIKI NŌ Festival. The featured stories, produced last school year, have aired on PBS Hawaii’s student news program, HIKI NŌ, and are nominated in this year’s HIKI NŌ Awards.

The story about Dr. Greenberg being part of our Kamehameha ‘ohana has been nominated by PBS Hawaii for “Best Profile” by a middle school.  One of only 4 nominations statewide in this category!  The HIKI NŌ Festival screening events are free of charge and will be at Consolidated Theatres – Kaahumanu Mall – Monday, August 25 at 6:00pm.

Mandatory Parent Training

Parents you are welcome to take the parent assessment while viewing the training video. You will receive an on-screen confirmation of completion at the conclusion of the assessment. You will not receive any another confirmation.

Please copy and paste the web address to the parent training assessment (http://tinyurl.com/msbk9c4) if you are unable to access the link above.

If you have already completed this training for your high school child, you do not need to take the assessment again for your middle school child.

The 2014-15 Student & Parent Handbook is now available here. Please click on the images below to download your digital Handbook and Acknowledgment forms.  If you are having trouble viewing the forms with Internet Explorer, please try opening the page in Firefox, Safari or Chrome.

After reading through the handbook, please print, sign & mail the acknowledgment form to the Middle School Office, 281 ‘A‘apueo Parkway, Pukalani, HI  96768.  Faxed or scanned copies of the signed Acknowledgement will not be accepted. Student schedules are set to be released on Thursday, July 24, 2014 via KS Connect.  If you are not able to retrieve your child’s schedule, go to the Home page on KS Connect.  On the left hand side, click on “Forms” then “Dashboard” to check on the status of various forms that must be completed in order for your child’s schedule to be released.  Please note that it takes 24 hours for records to be updated.  Your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated.
