Athletic Obligations
Some of you are still missing required athletic forms or need to participate in a PCA workshop. In order to receive a jersey or participate in the regular season, these obligations must be completed.
Parent/paddler meeting will be rescheduled to a later date.
T-Shirt Fundraiser Money Due on Friday, December 7
The money and order form for t-shirts is due tomorrow, Friday, December 7.
FIRST DAY OF PRACTICE IS MONDAY, NOVEMBER 26
The bus to Bayfront will leave school at 3:05. Be prompt!
IMPORTANT – All athletes need clearance from athletic trainer in order to participate
Individual e-mails have been sent out to paddlers regarding athletic item(s) that are missing. In order to participate in any sport the following requirements must be met.
- Attend a PCA workshop
- Sign PCA/KS contract
- Have a current physical
- Sign release/application/certification form

Cross Training for November 5 – 9
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 4:00 – 5:30.
IMPORTANT – PCA Make up session
In order to participate in paddling, athletes and their parents must attend a PCA workshop.
A student make up session will be held on Wednesday, November 7th for the PCA workshop. This is an early release day and students will be released at 12:30; class will be held at Mrs. Soares’ classroom at 1:00 PM. Student session is required for all students (players, statisticians and managers).
If you are a parent have not attended a workshop you will need to take an online course. Please follow the directions below:
– go to the PCA website www.positivecoach.org
– click on the, “Just Starting Second-Goal Parent Course”; cost for course is $25 (KS absorbed the original expenses, so anyone not able to make it to any of our on-campus – sessions will need to pay out of pocket)
– once online course and exam are successfully completed parent needs to print certificate, bring certificate to athletic office and sign PCA-KS Parent Agreement form.

Commitment form is due before the first day of practice.
Form must be signed and returned to Coach Pua before the first day of practice.
Cross Training Begins October 26
For those of you who are not currently participating in a fall sport, you are encouraged to start cross training either on your own or with the team. Cross training is not mandatory, but is important to help you get in shape for the season.
Training is from 4:00 – 5:30; meet outside of Koai’a.
