Here we go… 2nd week of school! We got NWEA testing on Monday and Tuesday so eat a good breakfast and come to school well rested. Still a light week as we are settling in to the new year. We will have a multiplication timed test some time and if you meet proficiency you may earn yourself a Casual Dress Day!

Glad you found my weekly HW area. Being the first week of school we really don’t have much HW. Please get your welcome letters signed and start gathering supplies you need for class: pencils, erasers, composition tablet, correcting pen. Also be ready for our beginning of the year Pre-Test and NWEA testing. Looking forward to kicking off another great year!

Don’t forget that NWEA MATH testing will be next week Wednesday & Thursday. Please prepare yourself and have a book to read on day of test. Also don’t forget that you only have 3 more weeks to get Mathletic certificates for this quarter. You should be able to get 5 certificates. Good luck!

Welcome back from Spring Break!! Hope you also had a blessed Easter! We’re back… and 4th quarter is in full swing. Remember to finish this year strong and keep up with your assignments and Mathletics. This quarter you will also be having your 3rd and final NWEA MAP test which is the IMPORTANT one that measures your growth from the beginning of the year. Please remember to practice your low RIT areas in Mathletics. The test dates for Math will be on May 1st and 2nd.

1. Go to the website at the bottom to start your OML contest after you READ all the directions below. Keep this window open to refer back to.
2. You will need to use my email loaiwohi@ksbe.edu to login.
3. The password is “password”
4. Click Login As: “STUDENT” – currently on “Teacher”
5. Once you’re in click on “TESTS” above 7th Grade Practice Area.
6. Next you need to find your test (8th math / 7th math) and your name.
7. At the end of the test (15 questions) you MUST click “Score my Test” to view your results.
8. IMPORTANT: Lastly you must click “SUBMIT” or your score will NOT be recorded and it will count your score as ZERO.
