Walking through the isles of Midkiff looking for books on paranormal things. CIARA, a girl about 5’4 who most people would consider as “emo.” Living in house that has dark powers and a history of murders. The houses powers keeps whatever/whoever is murdered spirit in the house for the rest of eternity. LANDON, Kim’s best friend since preschool is a good-looking jock who’s got Ciaras back no matter what. Though since high school started, most people have no idea that they’re best friends After being Ciara’s friends since forever, Landon just found out about the house and now the both of them are figuring out a way to get rid of a spirit in the house who was a murderer in his past life. The murderer is out to get Ciara’s parents who have no idea of the houses powers. Ciara has to stop him before he does something to harm Ciara’s parents.
Ciara pulls a book off of the shelf and looks through it. Then while the book is still open, leans towards Landon
CIARA
(whispers to Landon.)
Did you ask him yet? Youʻd better do it soon
before itʻs too late.
Looking through a book also, hesitates before answering, faces Kim
LANDON
(whispers back in a shaky voice)
Umm, iʻm scared. Remember what happened last
time.
Slams her book shut, looks over to Landon
CIARA
(enforcing, yet whispering tone)
If you don’t do it yourself, Iʻm going to to do it
for you.
LANDON
(With his book still open, whispers back to Kim in a reassuring tone. Before saying “We’d better go”
No, no, I can do it, don’t worry about it. Weʻd better
go before anyone sees us.
They put the books back and walk off.
