Aloha Mai, my name is L. P. Kupaelani Akeo, High School Grade level Counselor for the Class of 2022.
Who am I?
I was born and raised in Pearl City on the Island of Oahu but my Moku’au’au begins here in Maui, Lanai & Big Island
Graduated from The Kamehameha Schools – Kapalama Campus (1982).
BS Psychology – Brigham Young University, Provo Utah (1988)
MS Counseling Psychology – Chaminade University of Honolulu (1996)
It is also my goal to work with students, their parents, the teachers and faculty collectively to build a solid foundation so our students may have a positive and enjoyable high school experience, learn life lessons, preparing them for their post secondary plans and to empower them to become leaders of tomorrow and good citizens in their communities.
Times Available:
I am available for students during the regular school hours and by appointment before and after school. Due to my full schedule, I strongly encourage parents to call and schedule an appointment. However, I do understand that stopping by the office occasionally may be necessary to accommodate your needs.
