Instructional Services Center (ISC)

The Instructional Services Center (ISC) supports the execution of the pedagogy, technology, and instructional system designs for new educational opportunities at Kamehameha Schools. Our role and purpose is to insure that learning materials and services are produced with KS resources are of the highest quality and address the diverse needs of Hawaiian learners. It is our kuleana to provide reviews for common standards and practices as well as to recommend appropriate designs and formats. The ISC staff enjoys working in collaboration with others to increase the quality and quantity of learning resources. We look forward to working with you!

As a part the Tri-Campus Hybrid project, Kamehameha Schools Instructional Services Center is committed to providing KS faculty with strategies and solutions to ensure successful design, development, support, and evaluation of online and blended learning courses.

In the Tri-Campus Hybrid project, ISC’s roles and responsibilities include:

  • Setting project goals and objectives
  • Leading online course development
  • Managing personnel and timelines
  • Ensuring that the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) process is utilized
  • Assisting with online and blended pedagogy and standards alignment
  • Creating a training and support plan
  • Revising content, activities, and assessments based on review and evaluation feedback
