Laptop Roll-Out, Parent/Student Safety Training, and Student ID Picture Taking

This message is for Grade 9 students coming up from Kamehameha Middle School, Grades 9-11 new invitees and students returning from a leave of absence in grades 10-12:

Welcome to our Kula Kiʻekiʻe (high school) and school year 2023-2024.  In this message, we are communicating the following information:

1. Sign Ups for Laptop Roll-Out

3. Student ID Picture Taking

1. Student Laptop Roll-Out

NOTE:  If you attended our KS Summer School or took a KS Digital course this summer and received your laptop, this message does not apply to you.

Laptop Roll-Out

Date:  August 1, 2, and 3

Time:  Approximately 45 minute sessions at 9:00am, 10:00am and 11:00am 

Location:  Midkiff Learning Center

Please sign up for ONE session at the link below.  Use this to also make any changes if your child is unable to make their original session.

NOTE:  If you are a Residential Life student, you do not need to sign up.  A special session has been reserved for you on Monday, August 7 at 3:15-4:00pm in Midkiff Learning Center.

2. Student Safety Training

 All students and at least one parent/guardian must complete the online Internet Safety Training.  We encourage families to complete the training prior to attending the laptop roll-out.

REMINDER:  ALL STUDENTS NEED TO BE IN SCHOOL UNIFORM, BE APPROPRIATELY GROOMED AND FOLLOW DRESS CODE WHEN ATTENDING THEIR LAPTOP ROLL-OUT SESSION.

3. Student ID Picture Taking

Some students will also be taking their ID Photo during their laptop roll-out session.  

NOTE:  If your child came from our Kamehameha Middle School, they will not need to take a picture unless the child didn’t take a yearbook photo in Kamehameha Middle School.

Students will have the first week of school (August 7-11) to ensure they get a student ID if they do not have one.  More information will be provided by their homeroom teacher.
