E Maika’i a Pa’ahana “Be Good and Industrious”

E-Friends/Our New York Pen Pals
Kumu Eldrege and Gushiken’s classes have connected with two second grade classes in New York. Their school is Tuckahoe Common School in Southampton, New York, on the east end of Long Island. In the summer, Southampton is the place to be for people from New York City. We were lucky enough to Skype with them and meet our pen pals “in person”:-)

| Give a smile, share the warmth! The students are busy working on projects that celebrate the festive season. They are busy decorating the CD Christmas tree in the computer lab, Emailing Santa our list, creating artwork using Pixie software, Tracking Santa using Norad, using the Internet to research how Christmas is celebrated around the World, and much more….Check out the Smile Box Winter slideshow to see the students in action! |

Ke Ola Hou! New Beginnings…
Welcome to Kamehameha Elementary School’s computer lab. My name is Julee Kaiaokamalie and I am the computer teacher for grades kindergarten through fifth grade at Kamehameha Elementary School on Maui. The lab now includes: 24 Dell Pentium computers, 2 networked laser color printers, 2 scanners, digital cameras, and a Dell wireless projector. All elementary classes visit the lab weekly. The lab is also open to all students during recesses. Please feel free to explore my blog!
