Young Artist Nationally Recognized

Our very own Elle from 3B was recognized this morning at Wā Piko for her outstanding art work that was created two years ago when she was in 1st Grade. The artwork is a drawing of sunflowers in a vase that was colored with oil pastels. It received a Certificate of Excellence in the MOA Museum of Art National Childrenʻs Art Exhibit.

Elle said, “It took hard work and a lot of practice coloring and drawing my sunflowers and vase. I feel happy because I did a lot of good work in it and I got recognized for it.”

Mahalo to Mrs. Rosehill for cultivating the talent of our keiki! It is through her teaching, support and guidance that our kids are able to thrive in the arts!

Hoʻomaikaʻi to Mrs. Rosehill and ELle!!!
