Speech Festival- Classroom Presentations

Many of our students are doing a fantastic job in memorizing their fables for this year’s Speech Festival. Each student was tested today, and most students could recall and recite most of their fable by memory. The expectation was that they would know at least half of their self-selected story by today.

There’s one week left for the students to practice. Next week Friday, January 31st the students in 3B will be put to the real test as their teacher and classmates score them on their performance. A copy of the scoring rubric can found below. Don’t forget that a great presentation includes appropriate gestures and facial expressions, so start adding those things in this weekend, if you haven’t done so already.

Let’s see what participants will get to move into the semi-finals in February. Good luck to all!
