Math Night 2010

What a fantastic turn out we had for our Math ‘Ohana Night on Wednesday!  We were all inspired by Nainoa Thompson and his stories about the people who inspired him to be who he is today.  Mr. Thompson also shared about his voyages on the Hokuleia and the importance of math in science in the real world setting.

After that was a stunning performance by our talented choir.  Many people were brought to tears with the beautiful voices of our keiki.

The breakout session for 2nd and 3rd graders included a lesson in using the Singapore Math Strategy and a fun science experiment called “Lincoln Drops”.  Look at the pictures and see what an awesome time we had that night!
