Earlier this week, our kula honored our Security aunties and uncles at our morning oli. First and fourth graders donated loads of snacks and goodies that were turned into huge gift baskets for our honored guests. ʻAha ʻŌpio Secretary Kalissa Leslie emceed our program thanking uncle Morty (Head of Security) as well as his staff for always keeping us safe and welcomed on campus. Uncle Morty Carter spoke to the students and related that he and his staff are here to keep all of the students safe so that they may study, learn and become good and industrious young men and women. Uncle Morty also shared that he is truly touched by our aloha for he and his staff. The faculty and staff offered the oli mahalo as well singing, “E Ala E”.
