Hauʻoli Makahiki Hou! We welcomed back students yesterday by greeting the rising sun with our oli, Ua Ao Hawaiʻi. We hope you had a restful and joyful holiday break. The students looked cheerful and excited in the morning and yet tired by noon! It does take us all a while to get back into the swing of things.
Many special events happening this month:
- MAP testing January 8-17 (please make sure your keiki eats a healthy breakfast and gets good sleep before their testing date, and everyday!)
- Martin Luther King Day holiday on January 21
- Security Appreciation Day on January 22
- Nā Koa Reward January 24
- Charles Reed Bishop Convocation on January 25 (special attire-white)
Our wish for all of you is that 2013 is filled with joyous events, fun times, lots of learning and good health.
