After weeks of asking by the students, I finally got some new pets for our science fish tank. Welcome three new cichlids and a betta fish. I’m excited to have them in my class. I’ve missed having fish to watch. The cichlids can be shy, but are sometimes curious with visitors.
Soon we’ll have to name them. I’ll be soliciting ideas for names. We want to give them names that best describes their personality as a fish. So you’ll have to stop by to observe them and watch them.
Here is a sneak preview of our new fish. They may be a little blurry since they wouldn’t keep still to take there school photo. LOL. They look prettier in person.
