PISCES Rover Keiki Name Contest

The Pacific International Space Center for Exploration Systems is having a naming contest for their lunar rover. Before you jump into naming something, you may want to know a little bit about it.  So take some time to read and watch this video about the rover.  See you can come up with a name that encompasses its purpose, the mission and a cultural connection as it is in Hawai`i for training.

This rover was created to move across lunar surfaces in future space exploration missions.  It is designed to carry astronauts and their equipment over the moon terrain.  This rover can also be controlled by remote control.

It has been on Hawai`i since Mach 13, 2014.  It has made appearances at the state capital and also in the Merrie Monarch Parade.
