3G: Light Energy

Let there be LIGHT!  The third graders have finally jumped into action with experiments for the third trimester.  Students are learning how light moves and what happens to light when it hits different medians, like glass, water, or mirrors.  They explored how light can split when entering water and how it makes objects disappears or look distorted.  In other experiments they tested with objects were transparent, opaque, and translucent.  While in others they demonstrated how light travels in a straight line.  Take a look at some of their exploration in science class.
