Moon Phase Cookies
It’s a little late, I know. However, even though the third graders are done with their study on the moon, I just had to show their yummy moon phase cookies that they made. Using cookies, the students had to carve our the filling in the shape of the eight main phases of the moon. Then they had to put them in order from the new moon to the full moon and back to a new moon. Only after they were able to put them in order were they allowed to eat their moons.
