K: Germs! Germs! Germs!

How do germs spread?  Ask our kindergartners as they conducted an experiment where germs traveled from one student to another by shaking hands.

Using “fake” germs that glow, students shook hands to see how germs can travel from one person to another.  They were so excited to see the glow germs on their hands.

So how do we get rid of germs?  Wash! Wash! Wash!  They later practiced washing their hands with soap and water. Then we checked to see if any of the glow germs were still on their hands.  NO! They were able to wash away the germs.
