Once On This Island is a story about how a peasant girl falls in love with the boy of her dreams, but comes to the realization that love can be complicated. Presented by the Theatre Performance class of 2017-2018, this magical, “little-mermaid”-like tale transports you to the island of Haiti, where the rains and winds of the island contain beauty and hidden meaning, and the culture is extremely dependent on it’s rich heritage of dance and song. Once On This Island will hit the stage of Lunalilo Hale on November 16th, 17th, and 18th at 7pm. We hope you can join us for the show!
