The All-School Convocation on Friday, August 19th was a wonderful opportunity for the student body K-12 to get together as one big `ohana (the only other time is Founder’s Day). KES (students and staff) opened the Convocation with Mele Ho`okipa, a mele welcoming all. The Middle School and High School dance teams also performed and Mrs. Debra Lindsey, our new po`o kula, addressed the students and faculty. The highlight for many of the children was a relay race comprised of students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Our very own, Hi`iaka and Kahiau, represented the Class of 2028. It was a great way to start the year and build school spirit and pride.
