Hea aku nō, e ō mai ʻoe              We call out to you, answer our call

 

E hōʻike mai i ke ala                    Show us the way

A ka ʻimi naʻauao –                      That those who seek wisdom –

ʻApapane, ʻAmakihi, ʻIʻiwi –      The ʻapapane, ʻamakihi and ʻiʻiwi –

E hahai pono ai                            Should carefully follow
