“FROM THE TOP”

The 3rd and 5th grade classes were treated to an concert and Q and A session with local slack key guitarist Sean Robbins along with Illinois trio “Trifecta” in January.  The performers were on campus to tape the nationally broadcast radio program “From the Top” which can be heard on Saturday March 20th at 10:00 a.m. on F.M. station 91.1.  Give it a listen you won’t be disappointed.

Kindergarten Classes Visit Radio Station and Sing at Hale Anunue

The kindergarten classes made their annual trip to Hilo to learn about how a radio station is run abd to add some Christmas cheer at Hale Anuenue.  What a nice surprise not only to find Ms. Coon’s tutu in the front row, but also Ms. Coon’s mom and dad visiting so they got to enjoy the keiki singing. It was a wonderful day for all.

KEIKI CHOIR SINGS AT CRAFT FAIR

The Keiki Choir performed at The Egstravaganza Craft Fair Novemeber 21st to help kick off the holiday season.  The overflow crowd did a bit of interupting the flow of shopping traffic, however, the venders and patrons were appreciative of the melodious sounds of our wonderful keiki.DSC03693DSC03694 Continue reading

Keiki Choir Offers a Mele at Ekalasia

The Keiki Choir made it’s performing debut at the October Ekalasia with two mele, the “Cradle Song” and Michael Jackson’s “We Are the World”. Kamalanai was the student conductor of the choir during “Cradle Song”.
