Please save the date,  Wednesday, May 19- 6:00p.m. We are planning a fun end of the year concert at the William Charles Lunalilo Center to showcase some of our children’s individuals talents.  More details to follow.

Good News!! The Spring concert DVD is available in the learning center and may be checked at your leisure.  It will be a great way to share the concert and the childrens’s artwork with those who may not have been able to attend the concert.

I am so glad that you came to the blog to practice your music for the 5th grade play. Please click on the 5th grade tab at the top of the blog, it will take you to the audio files where you can listen  practice your songs. Have fun, and leave me an online comment to let me know how you liked learning this way.

To listen to three of the songs the Keiki Choir performed at the PTO meeting on Feb. 11 2010, please click on the  links below.  I t will take you to “Teachertube.com”. You should not need a log in or password to view and listen to the songs.  You will however have to watch a SHORT commercial before each song.  You will also have to return to the BLOG to click on to the next song. I hope you enjoy them.

Thanks to the many hands that helped make the Keiki Choir Service Project, “Hearts for Haiti” a success. The lastest count was well over $400.00 raised with more money coming in today to send for the relief efforts in Haiti.  With Mrs. Rosehill at the artistic helm, the choir members along with enthusiastic staff members made heart pins that were sold at the Feb. 11th P.T.O.meeting.  The Keiki Choir also entertained  hundreds of P.T.O members and their families with fun love songs to celebrate the season.

Thanks to all who helped, sang and supported our fundraising efforts!!

This catchy little ditty sung to the tune of “This Old Man” is a favorite among the younger set during the month of February.  In these pictures Kindergartners enjoy the song for the first time in music class.

Ask your keiki about this song and sing it with them, you will be glad you did!
