Why: Through ‘Ike Kupuna, & ‘Imi na’auao, students will practice metacognition (awareness/reflection), to gain understanding of and appreciation for the culturally significant preparation of Lauhala.
Attire:
‘Ōiwi Edge shirt, uniform bottom, covered shoes
Items to bring:
Swimming attire, towel, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, light rain jacket/poncho, small umbrella, light snack, light backpack to carry items (we will be prepared for all weather).
Lunch and snack will be provided
