We were very blessed to have Uncle Skibs (Keith Nehls), visit our kula and share his amazing ʻike and manaʻo. Uncle Skibs is the founder of a non-profit organization called Basic Image…Sharing the Aloha Spirit World Wide. The work he leads helps to benefit our environment, in particular our coastal regions/beaches, through the empowerment of our youth and community. Uncle Skibs is a genuine example of “alakaʻi lawelawe”…servant leadership.
Papa ʻElima listened intently as Uncle Skibs shared his “aloha ʻāina” moʻolelo, in preparation for our September 29th huakaʻi to Honoliʻi Beach Park.
