‘O Maui ka mokupuni, ‘o Hamakuapoko ka moku. Born and raised on Maui, I am the eldest of three children born to Moses and Eliza Kāne. My passion lies within the roots of my Hawaiian culture. This passion was instilled in me through the values taught by my ‘ohana and through the education I received as a graduate of Kula Kaiapuni and the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and through my hālau, Keʻalaokamaile. Today I consider it my kuleana to perpetuate and share both the Hawaiian language and culture.
