Alike the ‘auwai, the collections in the learning center are sources.  ​

The ‘auwai funnels water from a water source,

like the stream or spring​ into the lo‘i kalo and loko i‘a. 

As the water flows through these food ​systems and provides balance

of health in these environments, the ​learning center can also provide

an array of resources for the ​informational, educational and social needs

of our school community ensuring that our people and ʻāina will flourish.​
