I am excited to be your child’s 5th grade Kumu!  I come from teaching third grade at Waiau Elementary on O`ahu.  I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies from San Jose State University and my Master’s Degree in Teaching from University of Hawaii. When I am not teaching, I love to coach and play volleyball, workout, hike, do arts and crafts, go to the beach and travel! As a Kamehameha Schools Kapalama graduate, I am so honored to come back and serve the pua of Pauahi. I believe that every child deserves an education and has the ability to learn.  It is my kuleana to make learning meaningful, applicable and engaging for all types of learners.  Education is the foundation for which success and growth is built upon so what better gift than that of an education.  I am here for your child and their needs.  Our classroom is a safe and loving place that I hope they feel comfortable to come to.
