Are you ready for your laptop

We are getting ready for our rollout of MacBook Airs for our high school students.  Make sure you are ready to receive your device prior to the start of school (July 30/31).

Students need to:

  • Have a valid KS ID
  • Parents need to complete online training or in-person training on July 27th
  • Completion of signed Appropriate Use Policy (AUP) form

Laptop Distribution for Students

Aloha e nā haumāna,

Hope your summer is going great.  In preparation for this coming school year’s Pāhana Kīpaepae Laptop project, here are some needed information you will need to know and follow through on:

Parent Training on 7/27; those parents who RSVP’d for the campus based training should bring headphones.

Student Training & Rollout on 7/30 & 7/31; students need to:

  1.  Check in 15 minutes prior to their training start time.
  2. Bring their student ID.
  3. Bring their signed AUP form (retrieve from PK blog).
  4. Bring headphones.
  5. Clear any outstanding financial obligations;  I believe the HS mailout includes a form listing all outstanding items, so they can refer to that.

If you do not have your student ID, please come to the Learning Center prior to the distribution date for retakes.  Students are limited to one free retake of their ID.

Please remind your parents of their training obligations as well.
