KSH Athletic Clearance & Participation

Reminder:

KS Parents and ‘Ohana – As we prepare for the tentative reopening of sports, we would like to send out the following reminder. Please double check that the following athletic participation clearance items have been completed and updated with Mālama Ola and on KS Connect. Student-athletes must be cleared prior to participating in sports.  

  • Health History and Physical Exam forms (same forms required by Mālama Ola Health Services).
    • Physical Exam date valid for 13 months from exam date.
    • Submit completed forms to Mālama Ola Health Services.
  • Athletic Participation Agreement and Release Acknowledgement form (Parent/Guardian and KS Student to complete online at KS Connect)

With the recently approved sports start date calendar, KSH Athletics is conducting a formal sports sign-up.  The sports sign-up link will be open from Oct 15 – 21, 2020.  All those that are interested in participating in sports, please sign-up using the google link by the Oct 21st deadline.  Please read the form carefully when signing up as sports season start dates have changed.

Reminder to all students, grades 9-12. Friday, August 30th is our first “All School – Aloha Wear” day for this school year. Please be advised that our dress guidelines have been revised (see below).

2019-2020 GUIDELINES FOR ALOHA FRIDAY ATTIRE

Kula Ki`eki`e has the privilege of enjoying ALOHA WEAR with safe footwear (non-athletic covered shoes and sandals with straps (girls) on the last Friday of each month (excluding December 2019) as an option to their KSH Polo Shirts.  LANDS’ END bottoms are required for ALOHA WEAR tops or collared shirts.

ALOHA WEAR is not a free day but an opportunity to model print and designs with meaning of our culture or that make traditional art contemporary. 

Participation is voluntary.  You are invited to wear:

*COLLARED ALOHA SHIRT with LANDS’ END bottom

*ALOHA TOPS/BLOUSES with LANDS’ END bottom (girls)
