New On the NKAN Blog – Summer 2012

As curriculum work continued throughout the summer, new features have been added to the Nani Ke Ao Nei blog.

Be sure to check out the Panels-Data and Panels-Mo’olelo pages, which are listed on the menu bar above. Each panel is now active with tags providing information and mo’olelo references on Hawaiian flora and fauna.

Hover your cursor over the sample image below to see tags containing information.

Also new to this blog is a feature highlighting huaka’i that supports NKAN research and curriculum development. The first huaka’i to be featured is the UH Hawaiian Tree Snail Conservation Lab. Come and get to know these tiny native animals!
