Interesting things about me:
- I hold a BA in Chemistry from UHH
- I am from Na’alehu, Ka’u
- I am married with 3 keiki, and 3 mo’opuna.
- I am a serious homebody with a strong interest in militaria, history, and historical literature. I also love anything nautical/aeronautical.
- I am a serious Jane Austen fan- especially Pride and Prejudice.
• My approach to education can be best summarized by the ‘olelo no’eau :
Lawe i ka ma’alea a ku’ono’ono.
Translation: Acquire skill and make it deep.
Explanation: If you want to become really good at anything, you’ve got to study hard and practice long until it gets deep and becomes a part of you.
