Our new project will be a fast project that will be a review of lessons learned in Intro to Video. Weʻll also be learning a bit more about scripting and shooting a conversation.
The final project is to write, shoot and edit a short scene with 2 characters having a conversation. The challenge is to make the scene fit into a certain genre. What is a genre? Itʻs basically a style or type. For example, action, romance, horror, comedy, science fiction etc (see http://www.filmsite.org/genres.html).
Open the attached script and each person will choose a genre to write their script. SCRIPT IS DUE WEDNESDAY at the start of Pd 4.
During class, we will vote for the top 2 scripts and those will be the projects that we will produce and the scriptwriters will be the directors. Other class members will work as part of the crew in the following positions:
