The goal of this project is to create a fast paced, interesting talking head segment that shares viewpoints of a variety of students. You want to keep your audience engaged with:
interesting answers (so editing out any extraneous information)
titles – of the questions and correct answers for trivia questions & Lower thirds to identify people
music – some audio to help keep it upbeat and moving
visually interesting by editing at a fast pace and avoiding jump cuts (meaning editing from the same shot to the same shot). Instead, switch it up with other shots.
The steps for today are:
1. Create a new project folder: 15S_pd#_lastname_first2lettersfirstname_manonstreet
2. Upload footage to “Footage” folder in the project folder
3. Open Premiere and save project to the new Man on the Street folder
4. Label clips with the NAME of the interviewee and possibly the question number
5. Put clips on timeline and start to put it in order by QUESTIONS
