Wow this video was deep, it hit me right in the na’au. It makes me sad that us Hawaiians don’t even have a right to go to our land. But the thing that i was really mad about was when the Hawaiian people got taken out of the court and the judge told them they couldn’t come in until they goe some proper clothes on. HELLO we are in HAWAII NOT THE MAINLAND, what the Hawaiians were wearing is what HAWAIIANS FROM HAWAII WEAR. IN HAWAII MALO’S ARE PART OF THEIR EVERYDAY LIFE. So they cannot tell us what to wear on out own land, it makes me MAD. Also i thought that those military people bombing Kaho’olawe were real liars, telling our congress people that their was no one on the island so they kept on bombing Kaho’olawe. It’s sad that the Hawaiians trying to stand up for their own land and get punishment for it. This video was very touching it made me realize that our Hawaii today is getting over rulled by non-Hawaiians who don’t know what their taking away from us Hawaiians. These non-Hawaiians are ruining our historic sites in Kaho’olawe. So i was HAPPY 🙂 that those Hawaiian men went back to Moloka’i to save some of our Hawaiian historical sites. This video was a great eye poener, and i’m glad we had to watch in and reflect on it.
