Help us get to Scotland!
Help us get to Scotland by taking your recyclables to Atlas Recycling. Ask for the proceeds to go to account #46 (“Edinburgh”). That’s all there is to it!
We plan to take 20 students and 10 staff members. The cost for each participant is approximately $7,100.00 for a total of $213,000.
FUNDRAISING PLANS include performances that will be open to the public with proceeds going to the Scotland fund. Mark your calendars for the following exciting events:
- WEST SIDE STORY November 19 (4pm), 20-21 (7pm). Tickets only $5 The classic modern telling of Romeo and Juliet set on the gritty streets of New York. Guest choreographer Jenn Eng lends her talents to this challenging and memorable production.
- CHRISTMAS CONCERT Wednesday, December 2 (6pm). Featuring band, hula, choir classes and special guests. Tickets $12. Get in the spirit of the season with the performing arts department.
- HŌʻIKE 2016 – “Hāʻupu” March 10-11 (7pm). The third Hawaiian-language opera produced by KS-Hawaii, based on the legend of Kana and Niheu. Tickets $12.
Students have been selling ice cream during lunch, bringing in about $500.00 a week.
Our projected in-house fundraising will be $135,000. Our shortfall will be $78,000, for which we are seeking help.
