Yes, it is time for us to get in the pool and swim for p.e. Parents you should have
got a letter and the schedule for your child in grades 3, 4, or 5 for swimming. It was sent home via your child.
Swimming at KS is an important part and unit in the curriculum. Participation is graded and students are asked to do a journal as well as other assignments in coordination with the swim sessions. Again if there is a medical reason for not participating a doctor’s note is needed. Your child will still need to accompany the class to hear the lesson and instruction for the day. They will also be responsible for all assignments.
Please find a place to put the swim schedule so your child can remember that they swim on the day they have p.e. first, it will fall on the same day (Day 1’s or Day 4’s) the whole month and a half. If you have any questions, please call, my number is (808) 982-0272.
