Knowing What To Eat

Grade two is embarking on a journey of knowledge through the Food Guide Pyramid for Health this month. They are learning about the five food groups and the number of servings needed daily for each of the groups. They are acquainting themselves with a variety of choices they have in each of the groups. They are also learning how to balance a meal using a variety of choices from at least three or more different food groups. The photos are of them engaging in food pyramid stations using a variety of educational manipulatives. It is learning and having fun too!
