P.E. teachers from both the Maui and Kapalama campuses came to visit our Kula Haʻahaʻa in March to work on curriculum and to build pilina. They also came to share their experience with our first grade class. Lemoe Tua (Maui campus) wanted to share a game he plays with his students called Fleet Ball. He shared that on the last Friday of every month at Kula Maui they have what is called Fleet Ball Friday. So, with the help of Jay Tschillard and Lynn Tagami (Kapalama campus) they taught and played Fleet Ball with Mrs. Mooreʻs first grade class. It was a fun and exciting game with great coaches. It was the perfect way to end the week.
