1. iMovie
In imovie you can make a trailer and a movie. You can put pictures, record you self and add sounds.

2. Drawing pad
In drawing pad you can draw on different kind paper. You can write with your finger or keyboard. You can add pictures to the project.

3. Keynote
in keynote you can explane what you did. It is like the power point on the computer.

For geography week we got to choose one ethnicity and learn a little bit about it. I am also Chinese. This is what I learned.

On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday we Skyped with our cousins from Tahiti. We learned a few Tahitian words and we taught them a little bit of English. It was fun.

Ho’omaika’i to Ariana, Zadyn, Manu, Lehani, Kerilyn and Seth for showing the Hawaiian value of Kuleana during the first trimester. We will be watching for haumana who demonstrate the value of Kahiau during the second trimester.

Our Halloween festivities were filled with Ninjas, Princesses, Fairies, a Cowgirl mommy and even a mommy Batwoman and daddy Batman.  We enjoyed our parade and had a blast with our pā`in a.  The goodies were yummy and we had enough snacks to feed an entire tribe.  Mahalo to all the `ohana of papa 1, especially our hard working PTO reps for a great afternoon.  Here is an Animoto of our afternoon Halloween fun. We had a GREAT day on our huaka`i to Ka`ū.  We visited the Ka`ū Coffee Mill, took a tour of the farm and learned how coffee was made.  Aunty Kathy Kam met us and shared more paintings and drawing experiences with us.  We learned about and visited the birth place of Henry Opukahaia, near Punalu`u and ended our day with a swim with the honu`ea; famous in Punalu`u.

Here we share the famous Ka Nani A`o Ka`ū mele with the wahi pana as our way to say mahalo for providing us a great day and huaka`i.

Today our students wore the color pink in honor of all who have overcome, battle and have lost their life to breast cancer. We also had a discussion about how our founder Ke Ali’i Pauahi lost her life to this disease on October 16, 1884.
