I’m just loving these moments when I get to read aloud a good book to my students K-5; a wonderful book that ties in culture, life-lessons, and the true meaning of LOVE♥. Love for ‘ohana, the ‘aina, people and animals. In my opinion, this book would be a winner for the Caldecott Award. The illustrations are beautiful!
