Please check out the &#8220;English\/Language Arts Rubrics (Draft)&#8221; tab for a quick view of the Rubrics created.<\/p>\n<p>This year, Tri-campus teams will be looking at revising and refining their draft benchmarks and rubrics. Updates and revisions will be posted on this site as soon as they are available.<\/p>\n<p>Continued work on the English\/Language Arts standards (benchmarks and rubrics) during the 2012-2013 school year will include:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tri-Campus E\/LA Teacher TouchPoint Meetings<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>First TouchPoint Meeting Dates and Locations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Meeting: September 21, 2012 on Maui.<\/li>\n<li>Middle School Meeting: September 11, 2012 on O&#8217;ahu.<\/li>\n<li>Elementary School Meeting: November 9, 2012 on O&#8217;ahu.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Second TouchPoint Meeting Dates and Locations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Meeting: February 1, 2013 on O&#8217;ahu.<\/li>\n<li>Elementary School Meeting: February 6, 2013 on Big Island.<\/li>\n<li>Middle School Meeting: February 8, 2013 on Maui.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Third TouchPoint Meeting Dates and Locations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Meeting: April 15, 2013 on Big Island.<\/li>\n<li>Elementary School Meeting: April 22, 2013 on Maui.<\/li>\n<li>Middle School Meeting: April 30, 2013 on Big Island.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>English\/Language Arts Summer Experience III<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Week-long work (dates tbd) with tri-campus English\/Language Arts teachers, curriculum coordinators, principals, headmasters and others, to continue to work on benchmarks and rubrics for English\/Language Arts.<\/p>\n<p>Please check back frequently for the latest information. <em>Mahalo!<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>During the 2011-2012 school year, tri-campus teams used draft benchmarks (benchmarks created in &#8217;10-&#8217;11) to create a first iteration of Rubrics for English\/Language Arts.
