MLA Formatting Assistance

MLA is the acronym for “Modern Language Association”.  MLA formatting simply means adhering to a standardized set of conventions when formatting a document and presenting its content. I require my students to use MLA formatting for major written assignments,  so they can learn and practice applying MLA formatting, which will be used in high school and perhaps college, especially when doing research papers.  Don’t be intimidated by it.  Once you learn how to format your papers MLA style, it is actually easy.  There are also a lot of on-line resources available to assist you if you forget or have questions regarding this formatting approach. Below are direct links to some of these resources.
