Grade 8 – Papa `ewalu has been hard at work on a very challenging choreography piece with the high school for West Side Story. In addition, we are also honing our performance skills with a short monologue unit. This allows us to focus on additional targets like fluency, voice projection, gestures and facials to bring our character to life while developing our memorization skills.
Papa `ewalu has had their first choreography session with Jenn Eng and the high school cast of West Side Story. “so fun”, “canʻt wait for next time” and ”Can we practice some more?” are some of the comment heard after the session.
